New figure work Crimson And Black

The latest piece from my figures series is a larger work, 15x30 inches. I felt it was time to get serious and start on some larger figure works so here is the first larger painting in oils. I am already working on the next painting which is the same size at 15x30 inches.

Sci-fi...landscape...
Now these exquisitely designed and executed beauties.

I'm having fun w/ my transparent white, a spectrum clear- in a tube, an unbleached titanium,
& other new experimental goodies.

So when will we get to see some of those new experiments? I like that unbleached titanium by the way.

Well you know it can take experiments a long time to "work", but I'm in the lab smelling toxic fumes for the cause.
Yesterday I started a street scene- our group painted "downtown". I had the masses blocked in- trees, sky, street...
The building I did not get around to on location is now my favorite part because the yellowy tone is glowing through the transparent white glaze! You can't get that with thick white. I have a white fence in there done regularly- what a difference. We'll assume the the sun is hitting it at a less direct angle. Somebody should handcuff me before I ruin it.

OK STOP RIGHT THERE JILL!

Now you've been handcuffed!
